Earlier editions of the "Adams Transcript" needed. They are on microfilm available at the North Adams Public Library. I have the July 4, 1878 paper. Earlier editions describing possible formation and discussions of the monument would be extrememly helpful. Those interested please contact me, or leave a message here, so that the effort is not duplicated.

| I did some more digging and come up with what I was hoping for. The website has been updated with that information. If there are any other stories not posted on the site that may be of some value or interest please let me know! |
